Tsurumi’s submersible pumps were hard at work in creating currents for Japan’s first artificial canoe slalom course and warm-up course.
Located next to Kasai Rinkai Park, the facility employs the largest class of submersible pumps that Tsurumi has installed in the country.

  Standing 5.4 m tall and weighing about 10 t, these gigantic submersible pumps created the challenging current needed for competitions by discharging 240 m³ of water per minute. That is enough capacity to fill a 25 m swimming pool in about 1 minute.
